“On behalf of the Loretto Sisters (IBVM) I send congratulations and best wishes to Stan Gibson as he retires from Ecologos.
For years Stan has done amazing work and we have been pleased to support, in a small way, the educational aspect of that work and the “water projects” in which he has engaged young people.
If we are to live out the principles underlying Pope Francis’ Encyclical “Laudato Si!” and to protect the precious water resources we are blessed to have in Canada, we need more people like Stan and all of those with whom he worked. Inspiring youth and arousing passion for care of our common home is what Stan has been able to do.
We thank him for that and wish him well in whatever the next phase of his life holds for him.”
