Thank you to all our racers, fundraisers and donors!

We had a blast at the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon on Sunday in downtown Toronto. Our racers all completed the 5k portion of the marathon and had a great time doing it. We'd like to thank all our racers and their sponsors for supporting us in our inaugural participation as an official charity in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Together they've helped raise almost $3,000.00 to support our work to protect climate and water, and we can't thank you enough! And just because the in-person race has taken place doesn’t mean you still can’t show some post-race love for our amazing team members. Donations of support can still be made until November 14th to the team as a whole or any participating racer.

See you next year!

WATER DOCS PROGRAMS

Water Docs is evolving its programming. After 10 years of producing the Water Docs Film Festival, our team is now developing an exciting new project called the #LaterNoMore campaign.

Water is the primary medium through which we will feel the effects of climate change. Unpredictable water availability, flooding, exacerbating water scarcity and contaminated water are all threatening factors causing concern about the kind of world the next generation will inherit as well as our ability to mitigate the increasing impacts. Climate change is a complex global issue that will continue to have a growing impact on communities, businesses, and the economy into the future.

It will require significant effort to transition successfully to a low-carbon society.  We all have a role to play – individuals, families, governments, financial institutions, businesses, industries, schools, and faith communities – in accelerating and scaling up climate change solutions.

#LATERNOMORE

We are excited to share the details of the #LaterNoMore project. In it’s pilot year, the first solution that we will be focussing on will be Green Transportation. The electric vehicle industry is currently in its infancy, however moving into the not so distant future, it will become a major player in the reduction of carbon emissions. It’s exciting what this industry has in store for us.

Simultaneously, we continue to deliver great programming through our Water Docs at School and Water Docs Where You Live programs. Dive a little deeper and read about who we are, what we do and how we do it.

A multi-year campaign to promote climate solutions, shape public opinion and accelerate action to create a carbon neutral environment for future generations.

This extraordinary school program teaches thousands of kids about water and climate using a unique, hands-on approach, instilling a passion for water stewardship.

Take action and make waves for water and climate protection in your community by hosting your own online community film screening.
